Background

“Ennerdale” runs 11,500 merino sheep and a Poll Hereford Stud. Ennerdale had already been using a triple drench for sheep, but our local reseller suggested we upgrade to Tridectin as it is a new class of combination drench. We were already interested as had seen Tridectin advertised in the Stock and Land.

What has been your experience with Tridectin

A few of our weaners were scouring in December, so at shearing in January we treated all the sheep with Tridectin. Worm problem solved and now 8 weeks on we are getting ready for pre-lamb drench with our stock looking well in a tough Autumn. We lamb in late April so will be using a Cydectin Long Acting injection drench and an oral Duocare to ensure maximum worm head kill plus persistence to keep our combination drenches at maximum power through the winter. With the great results from Tridectin, we will put it into our program again for our first summer drench this year.
